So, I just got done with another friends cut. I know everyone says "please don't take it personally", but really. Please don't take it personally. I actually cut a good amount of people, so if you think you're the only one, your not. I just cut people that:

-I don't even know who the heck they are and how they ended up on my friends list

-people that haven't commented on my entries in forever and just assume they fell off the face of the planet

-other reasons I'd rather not go into.

I would love to be on the painting crew! And, I'll soon be CPR certified. And with the upcoming classes I'll be in, I would probably be used in first aid too, so that will be cool. Although, when we were doing the remodeling at our hall (which is nowhere near done), I did work at first aid with a sister who is a nurse, and I must say it was very slow moving. I'm not in the RBC, but because we did the remodeling at our hall, they wanted volunteers, so I was able to help out. It really gave me a feeling for what it is like. And even though it rained every day, it was the best weekend ever. I remember I was helping mix the mortor (or whatever that stuff is called that is in between bricks) and someone put their shovel in way too hard and I got splattered pretty bad with the stuff. And let me tell you, I loved it. The whole weekend I was like "When am I gonna get dirty?!?!" I love gettin dirty! Wow, that came out wrong, lol

So, I think once I get more stronger spiritually, I will definetly put in my application. I'm kind of kicking myself for letting my slip a little bit, but it will be ok. One step at a time.

Well, I have to go. I can't be late for work again. But today is the first day of spring. and I think this will have a big effect (affect?) on my mood :D

So, our meeting was cancelled tonight. On Saturday, our fire alarm at the KH went off. We thought everyhting was fine. But tonight, if went off again before the meeting started. There was about 40 of us standing outside and our PO said that because he doesn't want us to have the meeting just to have us evacuate again, it would be in our best interest if we didn't have it. Which sucks, but I do have homework to do.

In other news: crap. It was Daylight Saving's Time (I think that's the one) and I forgot to set my clock ahead an hour. So I said to myself that I'd have enough time to get ready for the meeting. But noooooooo I'm an hour behind schedule.

And I had a very weird dream about planes. I think it's because I've been talking so much about flying and traveling. In the dream, I was in a plane and we were in the air for some time. The plane started to ascend some more, just like in take off. But for some reason, the angle of the plane was such that we were almost vertical!! We started to scream at the pilot, because we thought if he continued this pattern, we would eventually be upside down. And then in the next frame (I dont know what happened in between) we were in the plane, but on the highway. with cars. and we were able to maneuver because the ratio of plane to car size wise was very very off. I think I'm going to stop thinking about traveling for a while before I have another bizzare dream. And yes, I realize I used think (or a form of the word) twice in that sentence. Dear me. I have to go back to bed or something.

Well, apparently my acid reflux has decided to come back. That's always a GRAND old time! I LOVE not being able to breathe and feel like elephant is sitting on my chest! </sarcasm> I need to lay off the spicy food, which is a shame because I love me some buffalo chicken. But usually spicy stuff isn't the best for you anyways, so I have to find an alternative. I love berries. Maybe I'll make myself some sort of a berry-fruit salad to snack on instead of the vending machines. I really need to drop weight. Badly.

In other news, my dad met up with me at school last night so we can switch cars again. He hands me an ipod nano and goes "Here. Someone left this at the rink [he is a manager at an ice skating rink] and they haven't picked it up in a while. So why don't you just take it". I did take it but I have no intention of keeping it. It was 10PM when I got out of school and I didn't wanna get into it with him there. But tonight when I go to my parents' house before the meeting, I'm going to give it back to him. It's not mine and I don't feel right taking it. It's not right. What if he or she comes back in a month looking for it? Plus, I don't really like used things anyways. I'd rather go out and buy a new one (which I want to anyways, because the one I have is the original one and it's way obselete). I don't know, do you think I'm strange for not wanting to keep it? All I can do is think about what we learn about at the meetings when it comes to situations like this.

I finally upgraded my computer on Sunday and I LOVE IT!! My itunes is so much better (version 7.0.2) and there's so much I can do with it! Well, I'm gonna go back to work. Leave me some love people! The comments have been scarce lately!!

I love that show. Actually, all British comedy basically rocks. I need to see if they're out on DVD. The other night, I watched a full episode of Are You Being Served? and I was crying I was laughing so hard!!! It was about how the owner of the store went to America to see how the American retail business is and he wanted to get away from the formalness the store usually has and wanted to become more like us. Oh man, it was such an embarrassment! But it was very funny.

ROFL!!! Look at the other two guys! I nabbed it from an article about how Tony Blair wants to pull about 1,600 troops out of Iraq, but that's besides the point (being that I'm a witness I'm not going to get into the politics). I just wanted to show how much of a snore-fest Blair probably is when he's speaking. I know they're not really sleeping, but it looks like it.

Well, I have to say. My part last night went WICKED GOOD! I got up there, and of course I was nervous. But the other girl (who's like, my best friend) and I went over it so many times, that I just pretended the audience wasn't there, that it was just her and me. I coughed a lot. When I get nervous, I cough. Most people get a trembling in their voice, or some shaking in their hands. I have to be a weirdo and cough, haha. After the meeting, a lot of people came up to me about how good it was. And it wasn't like the "Hey, that was great!" and leave. They went on and on about why they liked it. One sister told me that I'm a master when it comes to writing talks! LOL I don't know about that, but it made me feel really happy. But the next talk I give, I cannot put it off to the last minute.

I'm still struggling with something. But I have to be patient with it. Man, I really need to get my tax refund check in, like, NOW. The first thing I'm doing is going to the mac store and getting the new OS. Mine is outdated.

Well, I need to go take a shower and get ready for work (I should be leaving my house in 15-20 min, and I'm under a blanket right now. Why do I procrastinate so much??

So, it's now a little past 8 in the morning. By now, I'm on 93 South, heading towards work. But right now, I am on my couch, in my pj's, under blanket, watching tv. why? Because I HAVE THE DAY OFF WORK!!! yay!!! I love holidays for this reason. No work! President's Day is so funny. I still have school tonight though :( but that's fine. I have to work on finding blood pressures. I can give a TB shot fine. I can draw blood fine (at least out of the fake arm). But I cannot find a blood pressure to save my life! My instructor suggested that I buy a sphygmomanometer (aka blood pressure cuff), and practice at home, but thats more money :( Granted it's only $25 give or take, but still. I just wish I didn't completely blow at doing this, lol! But I'll get it sooner or later.

In other news, I dropped some more poundage! I don't remember when I first weighed myself, but I've lost 4 lbs so far. I think it's been a little less than a month. So it could be more. But I'll take the 4. BIKINI, HERE I COME!! lol, I'm completely kidding. But I need to lose like, 60 lbs more. It will come. But it's cool. One of the sisters yesterday asked me if I lost weight. and then when I went to my parent's house, my MOM told me I looked like I did! My mom NEVER hands out compliments, but I broke down one day and I told her that insulting me accomplishes nothing and she should try something nice. So when she complimented me (and it was heartfelt) I told her how good that made me feel and that's gonna help me more than a putdown.

Well, I'm hoping that my tax refund comes in soon. I need to go to the Apple store and buy the latest OS (operating system) because mine is mad outdated.

So I went out in service yesterday. It was soooo cold that I really just wanted to present the magazines, not read a scripture. I didn't want the householder to freeze to death by keeping the door open for a long time. And, oh my word, my presentation was sooooooo horrid! I don't understand why! When I did it the last time, it was perfect! And this time, I was stumbling over my words and it just did not make anysense. He still ended up taking them and when I asked if I could come back next week, he goes "Yeah, whatever". LOL, I think I know what that means: "Yeah, I really don't want you to come back, but I want to be nice".

In other news, I just finished watching Animal Atlas and it was talking about the animals of Australia. I loved it! It reminded me of that cartoon "Taz-mania" with the Tazmanian Devil (which really doesn't look anything like a really Tazmanian Devil). And it showed the kangaroos and wallabies (or would it be wallabys...probably right the first time). I would love to go to Australia and see all the animals. So I'm compiling a list of countries I need to go to. In no particular order:

Australia
Italy
Greece
Germany (well, I don't know about this one. But I would just love to see the castles)
